G4’s recent merger with TechTV will not derail the second annual G-Phoria - The Award Show 4 Gamers, the network said Tuesday.
The video-game-awards show will be held Saturday, July 31, at the Shrine Exposition Center in Los Angeles, and it will air on G4techTV Friday, Aug. 6 at 8 p.m. (EST), with a preshow a half-hour earlier.
“This has been a landmark year for G4,” G4techTV CEO Charles Hirschhorn said in a prepared statement. “G-Phoria is the ultimate forum to celebrate the very best in video games and, at the same time, air a blockbuster television event for our viewers.”
