HBO's Game of Thrones returned for its second season to 3.9 million total viewers on Sunday at 9 p.m., improving 27% over its first season finale.
The episode was also up 53% over what GoT averaged in season one and 74% over its series premiere.
Across its three plays Sunday night, the premiere drew 6.3 million total viewers.
