GFC Makes a New Age Acquisition

published General Fiber Communications Inc. said Wednesday that it has acquired New Age Cable.
The deal will give GFC six systems and 400 technicians located in Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minn.; Chicago; Milwaukee; and Fort Worth and Dallas, Texas.
The transaction marks the provider of technical-fulfillment and construction services for the broadband industry’s 10th acquisition of the year.
GFC will provide services to MSOs previously served by New Age, including Comcast Corp., Time Warner Cable and Charter Communications Inc.
