Golden Globes 2019: ‘The Americans’ Takes Best Drama Series Award
FX’s The Americans won the Golden Globes award for best drama in its farewell season.
The series, which ended its six-season run last May, replaces last year’s Golden Globes winner, Hulu’s The Handmaid’s Tale.
The series, which stars Keri Russell and Matthew Rhys, also beat out sister FX series Pose, Netflix’s Bodyguard, Amazon’s Homecoming, and BBC America’s Killing Eve for the award.
