GSN Acquires Classic Squares Episodes
Episodes of classic 1960s and 1970s game show Hollywood Squares will
make their debut on Game Show Network beginning April 15 as part of an agreement
announced Wednesday between the network and MGM Television Entertainment.
GSN also announced the acquisition of popular 1980s game show Win, Lose or
Draw.
'We're thrilled to feature two of the most popular celebrity game shows and,
in the case of Hollywood Squares, one of the longest-running shows in
television history,' senior vice president of programming Bob Boden said.
Hollywood Squares will air daily at 8:30 p.m. as part of the network's
revamped primetime lineup.
Beginning April 15, Family Feud will air at 8 p.m., followed by
half-hour episodes of Hollywood Squares, Match Game, Press Your
Luck, Whammy! The All New Press Your Luck, Newlywed Game,
The New Newlywed Game and another episode of Hollywood
Squares.
Win, Lose or Draw airs weekdays at 11:30 a.m., the network
said.
