David W. Harleston has joined Current as general counsel and senior vice president, business and legal affairs.
Harleston, the former Def Jam Recordings president, had been executive producer and business and legal affairs consultant to MZA Events.
Current, a youth-focused network scheduled to launch Aug. 1, is run by chairman Al Gore and CEO Joel Hyatt.
