Harron Equity Partners LP said it has completed its acquisition of a majority ownership interest in Gans Communications LP from Nautic Partners LLC and other individual equity holders.
Gans serves approximately 42,000 basic-cable customers in Pennsylvania, Maryland and Virginia, while Harron has systems serving some 70,000 subscribers in Maine and New Hampshire.
“We are pleased to add these fine Gans systems to the Harron group,” Harron chairman and president Paul F. Harron said in a prepared statement. “Harron is committed to continuing its strategy of acquiring cable systems with high potential value like the Gans operations.”
The family of Joseph S. Gans has retained a minority interest in Gans.
