Home Box Office will premiere a documentary Nov. 11 based on the real-life
members of Easy Company, whose exploits and bonds on World War II battlefields
are the subject of its Band of Brothers miniseries.
We Stand Alone Together -- featuring recent interviews with the real-life
company members and combined with rare and archival photographs and film footage
-- bows on Veteran's Day from 8:30 p.m. to 10 p.m., one week after Band of
Brothers concludes its original 10-installment run.
The film was directed by Mark Cowen and written by William Richter. Tom Hanks
and Steven Spielberg served as co-executive producers.
The premium network will encore the documentary -- broadcast in wide-screen
and high-definition-TV formats -- Nov. 13, 14, 17,19, 25 and
27.
