Postman Pat
has a special delivery for his fans this summer, when new weekly episodes of the long-running British series debut on HBO Family beginning June 17, officials said Tuesday.
Prior to the new shows, HBO Family will feature a special Postman Pat marathon every day from May 27-29, 9 a.m.-1 p.m., spotlighting episodes from the series’ 2005 run.
All episodes of the animated children’s series -- which follows the activities of the neighborhood postman in a close-knit, unhurried rural community -- will be available in both English and Spanish.
Coinciding with the new episodes, Britain’s favorite postman will make his first in-person appearance May 28 at the Washington 2006 Stamp Fair in Washington, D.C., where children and their families will be able to meet him.
