HBO Renews ‘Random Acts Of Flyness’
HBO has greenlit a second season of its late-night series Random Acts Of Flyness, the network announced Monday.
The series, created by Terence Nance, explores evergreen cultural idioms such as patriarchy, white supremacy and sensuality from a new, thought-provoking perspective, according to network officials. The six-episode first season launched Aug. 3.
“We couldn’t be happier with the response to Random Acts of Flyness – it’s struck such a powerful chord with our viewers,” said Nina Rosenstein, executive vice president, HBO Programming in a statement. “We’re thrilled to bring Terence and his team back for a second season of this provocative, remarkable series.”
Random Acts of Flyness is executive produced by Terence Nance, Tamir Muhammad, Jamund Washington, Kishori Rajan, Kelley Robins Hicks, Chanelle Aponte Pearson, Ravi Nandan and John Hodges.
