HBO Sets May Alvarez-Kahn PPV Fight
HBO will distribute a May 7 Canelo Alvarez-Amir Kahn pay-per-view boxing event, the network announced Tuesday.
The fight, for Alvarez’ World Boxing Council middleweight championship, will be the network’s second PPV boxing event in as many months. HBO also has scheduled an April 9 PPV fight card featuring the Manny Pacquiao-Timothy Bradley Jr. welterweight championship bout.
Alvarez most recently defeated Miguel Cotto in a Nov. 21 PPV boxing card to win the WBC middleweight championship.
