HGTV Spends $1M to ‘Restore America’
Home & Garden Television will support community reinvestment projects in 11 cities with a total of $1 million through its “Restore America” initiative.
The network said this marks the fourth year for Restore America.
The 11 grant-winning sites are: Chicago, Historic Pullman Landmark ($50,000); Cleveland, Heritage Lane Historic Homes ($75,000); Miles City, Mont., Old Holy Rosary Hospital ($50,000); Provo, Utah, Maeser School ($50,000); Philadelphia, Winston Commons ($50,000); Norwich, Conn., The Wauregan ($50,000); Buffalo, N.Y., Buffalo Artists Lofts ($50,000); New Orleans, Holy Cross Recovery Project ($100,000); Knoxville, Tenn., Barber Houses ($50,000); Little Rock, Ark., Hot Springs High School ($50,000); and Austin, Texas, Juniper-Olive District Historic Homes ($50,000).
