Earlier this month, the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) presented the last of its 2005 Media Awards at a ceremony in San Francisco. The awards, presented each year at star-studded events also held in New York and Los Angeles, honor individuals and projects in the media and entertainment industries for fair, accurate and inclusive representations of the LGBT community.
Winners of awards run the gamut, from Broadway plays to TV shows to Web sites. In the following listing, we’ve focused only on the TV awards.
