'Housewives,' 'Watch What Happens' Hail Bravo's Best Sunday Night
With a double dose of its Housewives franchise and its talk show serving up its top performance of the season, Bravo notched the best Sunday night in network history among all key demos.
The fourth-season premiere of The Real Housewives of New Jersey averaged 3 million viewers, the network's most-watched ever campaign, according to Nielsen data. The April 22 telecast benefited from a strong lead-in: the third installment of The Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion, which registered with 3.2 million viewers, including 2.2 million persons 18 to 49.
Bravo capped the night with 1.9 million viewers for Watch What Happens Live, its best delivery of the season. That tally included 1.1 million of the demo Madison Avenue covets most.
On the social media scale, Bravo was the No. 1 network across all competing cable and broadcast networks in social media activity, with 209,000 mentions, a 38% incrfease from the prior week according to Trendrr.
