ICTV Inc. has landed its first commercial deployment for its 'HeadendWare'
interactive-TV-software product: Access Communications, a Regina, Saskatchewan,
MSO that serves 80,000 subscribers.
The deal will allow Access to offer interactive services, including Web
browsing, on TV sets.
The MSO has deployed Motorola Broadband Communications Sector 'DCT-1000,'
'1200' and '2100' boxes in its market.
ICTV said its HeadendWare application can support 500,000 digital subscribers
from a single headend rack.
