Ides of March for Rainbow

Cablevision Systems Corp. has set the record date for its Rainbow Media Group
tracking stock.

Shareholders as of March 15 will receive one share of Rainbow for every two
shares of Cablevision they own. The MSO said in a prepared statement that it
expects to distribute the stock March 29.

Cablevision said it anticipates that Rainbow shares will trade on the New
York Stock Exchange under the symbol 'RMG.'
