Insight Communications Co. Inc. has appointed new district vice presidents for its Lexington, Ky., and Rockford, Ill., operating areas.
N. Scott Behn began work Monday as the MSO’s district VP in Rockford, where he is responsible for operations in the Greater Rockford and Dixon, Ill., markets, reaching some 120,000 customers.
Behn joins Insight from Lazer Communications Inc./Three-Sixty Networks L.L.C. in St. Cloud, Minn., where was senior VP. Prior to that, Behn worked in various operations positions at such companies as Swanson Services Corp., Charter Communications Inc. and Marcus Cable. He began his career as chief engineer at Time Warner Cable in Fox Valley, Wis.
Earlier this month, the MSO hired Dan DeYoung to oversee its operations in the Lexington area, serving approximately 83,000 customers.
Most recently, DeYoung served as director of business operations for Comcast Corp.’s Savannah, Ga., system. He has also held operations, consulting and financial-management positions at Jones Intercable Inc. and Covalt, Reeves and Associates P.C. in Colorado.
