INSP: The Inspiration Network is adding a new daily financial-news show hosted by Charlotte, N.C.-based financial adviser Danny Fontana.
Fontana, senior partner and founder at Triune Capital Advisors, also is a weekly contributor to Fox Business Channel and a show based on his radio program ran on Inspiration Networks' channel i-LifeTV for four years. The new series, Danny Fontana on Finance, launches Monday, May 18, at 3:30 p.m.
"Each day, this series will present a breakdown of the financial news in a way that makes sense to people trying to raise their families and pay their bills," Ron Shuping, EVP of programming at The Inspiration Networks, said in a release. "Danny Fontana on Finance will draw on Danny's experience and expertise, and his wealth of contacts in the financial and political communities. But the message is designed to resonate with everyday people who want to make sense of the current financial landscape. No one can speak to this subject like Danny. He is a one-of-a-kind personality and a natural for television."
Fontana will take calls, emails and Tweets from viewers. "We also will have a regular team of financial experts and prominent guests to bring color and insight," Schuping said in the release. "Charlotte is one of the largest banking centers in the country and we will be able to draw from the extensive community of authorities here in our home market."
