Intertainer's Beck Joins Mixed Signals

Intertainer Inc. chief operating officer Caroline Beck will soon be named CEO
of Mixed Signals Technologies Inc., a high-level company source said Monday.

Beck resigned from the Culver City, Calif.-based video-on-demand company in
November, an Intertainer spokeswoman said. Mixed Signals -- an
interactive-television company that competes with ACTV Inc. -- is also
headquartered in Culver City.

A company source said current Mixed Signals CEO Alex Thompson, who also owns
a large stake in the company, will remain at the company in a different
position.

Thompson didn't return calls. A call to Beck's new office at Mixed Signals
wasn't immediately returned. Dan Spelling, the company's publicist, declined to
comment last Thursday.

Before joining Intertainer in November 1998, Beck was senior vice president
of marketing and business development at Game Show Network. Earlier, she was
vice president of marketing at StarSight Telecast Inc.

She also worked previously as executive vice president and partner at Stein
Robaire Helm and senior vice president of strategic development at Young &
Rubicam Inc.
