Jeff Daniels Takes Emmy For Lead Actor In A Drama
In a major surprise, Jeff Daniels won the Emmy for lead actor in a drama series for his role in HBO’s The Newsroom.
Daniels beat out last year’s winner, Damian Lewis (Showtime's Homeland), as well as Bryan Cranston (AMC's Breaking Bad) John Hamm (Mad Men), Kevin Spacey (Netfix's House Of Cards) and Hugh Bonneville (Downton Abbey).
