Elton John is scheduled to make his QVC debut live from Caesars Palace in Las Vegas with his latest project, The Captain & The Kid, Friday at 7 p.m., according to company officials.
During the one-hour QVC broadcast, John will sing a selection of songs and offer viewers insight into the story behind his new release, which is based on the 39-year songwriting partnership between John and Bernie Taupin.
The Captain & The Kid is a sequel to 1975 John/Taupin collaboration Captain Fantastic and the Brown Dirt Cowboy.
Not only will QVC customers receive The Captain & The Kid, but it will be packaged with a special CD compilation of tracks from John’s recent Fashion Rocks concert performed in New York.
