Kasenna Inc. said All West Communications Inc. in Kamas, Utah, is using its
servers for a video-on-demand rollout for its telephony customers across a
130-square-mile area in rural Utah.
All West is using technology from Next Level Communications Inc. to deliver
video over an Internet-protocol network. Other technology partners include Sun
Microsystems Inc. and Myrio Corp.
All West is using Kasenna's "MediaBaseXP" platform for the VOD rollout.
"There's a growing demand among telco providers to capitalize on the revenue
opportunity of premium-TV services as part of their triple-play offering," All
West general manager Tony DiStefano said in a prepared
statement.
