The National Football League has promoted Howard Katz to the newly developed position of senior vice president of media operations.
Katz had been chief operating officer of NFL Films.
In his new post, he will continue as COO of NFL Films, as well as adding oversight of the league’s playing schedule and managing the operations of NFL Network.
