FSN continued its executive reorganization, naming former FSN Bay Area general manager Jeff Krolik executive vice president of Fox Sports Regional Networks.
Krolik will oversee the day-to-day operations for FSN’s 18 owned-and-operated regional sports networks, according to FSN president Randy Freer, to whom Krolik will report.
Krolik, who had been serving as senior VP and GM of FSN Bay Area since 1995, will be based in FSN’s Los Angeles headquarters.
“Jeff is a strategic thinker who has the critical skills necessary to lead our RSN business into the next decade,” Freer said in a prepared statement. “He will guide our management team as we concentrate on developing local content for all of our media platforms in order to better connect fans with their favorite teams. Jeff will also lead the effort to focus our networks where appropriate to create greater localism and strengthen FSN’s position as a leading local sports destination.”
The move is the third executive appointment in as many months for FSN. This past January, the company promoted former FSN president Bob Thompson to president of Fox National Cable Sports Networks and former FSN COO Freer to FSN Networks president.
