Lifetime Celebrates Women’s Health Week
Lifetime Television said Monday that it is teaming up with the Society for Women’s Health Research to recognize “National Women’s Health Week” this week.
The network and sister service Lifetime Real Women will air a public-service announcement featuring Trisha Yearwood about lung cancer and women.
Lifetime will also run special on-air spots encouraging viewers to learn more about how diseases affects men and women differently during Strong Medicine.
And on its Web site (www.lifetimetv.com), Lifetime will highlight National Women’s Health Week for the entire week, with content including an exclusive interview with Phyllis Greenberger, the first president and CEO of the SWHR; a tip sheet of five things women can do to improve their health; a resource list of health organizations; and links to breast-cancer sites and the network’s Strong Medicine site.
