Lifetime Nabs Burstyn, Fonda
Pasadena, Calif. -- Academy Award winner Ellen Burstyn and Emmy Award nominee
Bridget Fonda will appear in original movie projects for Lifetime
Television.
Burstyn will star in Within These Walls, a true story about a nun who
inspires female prisoners by incorporating them in a prison-dog-training program
to aid the handicapped. The movie, which also features Laura Dern, will premiere
Aug. 20, the network said.
Fonda will appear in After Amy, a fictional film based on the
first-ever human clone. After Amy bows Oct. 8 on Lifetime, basic cable's
No. 1-rated network in primetime during the first half of
2001.
