Lifetime Names Magazine's Ad-Sales Team

Lifetime Television has named an associate
publisher for its forthcoming magazine, as well as three other members of the
spinoff's ad-sales team.

Renee Lewin has become Lifetime
magazine's associate publisher, reporting to vice president and publisher Susan
Plagemann. Lewin previously held a similar post at Esquire since 1996,
and before that, she was Family Circle's vice president of marketing
services.

Lifetime executive VP of ad sales Lynn Picard
said in a prepared statement, "I am thrilled to be working with [Renee], Susan
and their team to create multiplatform opportunities between the magazine, the
network and lifetimetv.com [http://www.lifetimetv.com/]."

Three women were named Wednesday to the
magazine's ad-sales team: Andrea Alexander to ad director, from associate
publisher of Rosie O'Donnell's Rosie; Tami Eagle to senior account
director/regional manager, from account manager, Cosmopolitan; and Mary
Zegras to fashion and beauty director, from Money associate
publisher.

Lifetime is scheduled to begin publishing in April as
a joint venture of Hearst Corp. and The Walt Disney Co., which also are partners
in Lifetime Entertainment Services. Hearst also publishes Esquire and
Cosmopolitan.

In addition, Lifetime editor in chief
Sally Koslow announced nine members of its editorial launch team.

Pamela Guthrie O'Brien has become its
executive editor, after having been with Meredith Corp.'s magazine-development
group, and Leslie Smith has been named Lifetime'smanaging editor,
from a similar post at Rosie

Like
Smith and aforementioned associate publisher Alexander, two other
editorial
staffers are coming from ill-fated Rosie.
