Lifetime’s ‘Anna Nicole’ Draws 3.3 Million Viewers
Lifetime’s original movie The Anna Nicole Story averaged 3.3 million viewers in its Saturday night premiere, the most-watched telepic for the network this year.
The movie, which portrayed the life of the iconic supermodel, bested the Lifetime’s 2013 year to date original movie audience average by 57%. In addition the movie now stands as basic cable’s most watched original film among several demos, including adults 25-54 (1.6 million), adults 18-49 (1.4 million), women 25-54 (1.2 million) and women 18-49 (1.1 million), said network officials.
The movie is Lifetime’s most-watched film since the October 2011 premiere of Steel Magnolias, which drew 6.5 million viewers.
