Lifetime’s ‘Gabby Douglas Story’ Movie Vaults To 3.8 Million Viewers
Two original programs on the life of Olympic gymnast Gabby Douglas drew ratings gold for Lifetime.
The women’s targeted network’s The Gabby Douglas Story original movie scored 3.8 million viewers in its Feb. 1 premiere, according to Nielsen Research. The movie, which profiled the life of the 2012 Olympic Gold Medal winning gymnast, comes on the heels of the 6.1 million viewers the network's drew for its January premiere of original movie Flowers In The Attic.
Immediately following the movie, Lifetime’s one-hour documentary Beyond the Headlines: The Gabby Douglas Story averaged 3.0 million total viewers, the network said.
