Lifetime Television will honor TV’s Greatest Sidekicks with an August special.
Hosted by Laverne & Shirley’s Penny Marshall and Cindy Williams, the one-hour special will look at “women supporting women” on TV shows through the years, with clips and interviews.
Stars including Bea Arthur, Betty White, Rue McClanahan, Fran Drescher, Judith Light, Valerie Harper, Marla Gibbs, Jackee Harry and Renee Taylor will experience rare reunions with their respective sidekicks.
