Lifetime Television is partnering with The National Campaign to Prevent Teen Pregnancy, Girls Inc. and Parents Anonymous Inc. on a national outreach campaign centered around the Feb. 16 debut of Lifetime Original Movie She’s Too Young.
The movie, starring Oscar winner Marcia Gay Harden (Mona Lisa Smile, Mystic River, Pollock), examines the cavalier sexual attitudes of today’s teen-agers as seen through a mother/daughter relationship that is profoundly changed when the mother discovers that her daughter and her group of friends are engaged in dangerous sexual behavior.
The multimedia campaign includes 30 public-service announcements on Lifetime featuring Alexis Dziena (Havoc, Mimic: Sentinel), who also stars in She’s Too Young, and several online components found on the network’s Web site (www.lifetimetv.com).
She’s Too Young debuts Monday, Feb. 16 at 8 p.m. (EST/PST).
