Lifetime's 'Dance Moms' Rings In 2.8 Million Viewers
Lifetime started the New Year on a high ratings note with strong performances from two original reality series.
The network’s Dance Moms series drew 2.8 million viewers in the Jan. 1 premiere episode of the second half of the series' sophomore season, said network officials. That's an increase of 33% compared to the show’s second season premiere in June, said network officials.
TheJan. 1 Dance Moms episode also averaged 1.4 million Adults 18-49 viewers (up 27% from the summer season premiere), 1.3 million Adults 25-54 viewers ( up 45%), 1.1 million Women 18-49 viewers ( up 26%) and 999,000 Women 25-54 viewers ( up 41%).
In addition, a sneak preview of Lifetime’s new original series Double Divas drew 1.5 million total viewers, said network officials. The series, which follows the owners of an Atlanta lingerie boutique, will officially debut Jan. 10, immediately following the debut of Project Runway All Stars.
