Lifetime Television will back up new reality show Cheerleader Nation with online content.
The network’s Web site (www.lifetimetv.com) will feature:
• “Tips for Teens,” with topics including dealing with stress, communicating with parents, balancing school work and extracurricular activities and health/nutrition;
• “Insights for Parents, Coaches and Educators,” which contains advice, statistics and resources on topics such as talking to your teen, raising awareness of teen-dating violence, encouraging self-confidence and promoting healthy young women;
• “Title IX Information and Advocacy,” background information on the importance of Title IX, which increased opportunities for women to be part of school sports teams; and
• “Women’s Sports Heroes,” featuring biographies of women’s sports heroes past and present.
