Cable lobbyist Marvin Rappaport, formerly with Charter Communications Inc., has joined Mediacom Communications Corp. as vice president of government relations based in the company's Middletown, N.Y., office.
Rappaport -- a lawyer who was an aide to former Rep. Matthew McHugh (D-N.Y.) -- will represent Mediacom before Congress, the Federal Communications Commission and the White House.
Mediacom announced the appointment Wednesday.
