Mark Awards Finalists Announced
The Cable & Telecommunications Association for Marketing and
Multichannel News announced the 20th Annual Mark Awards finalists
Monday.
Among the nearly 50 companies on the list, MTV Networks led the
program-network division with 11 finalists, and Turner Broadcasting System Inc.
was close behind with 10.
Cox Communications Inc. was the clear leader in the distributor division with
11 finalists.
The "Gold" and "Silver Mark Award" winners will be announced at the Mark
Awards ceremony and reception Sunday, July 20, from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. during
the CTAM Summit in Seattle.
The Mark Awards are sponsored by A&E Television Networks, Hallmark
Channel, Home Box Office, Lifetime Television and Showtime Networks Inc.
"The spirit behind the awards is to honor those efforts that most
successfully execute the strategic and creative aspects of a marketing
campaign," Mark Awards committee chair and Cartoon Network vice president of
trade marketing Tom Alexander said in a release.
