Michael Markovsky will manage carriage-contract negotiations for Q Television Network, the company announced Tuesday.
Gay- and lesbian-targeted Q is scheduled to launch during the third quarter. Its soft launch began June 1.
Among his cable-industry credentials, Markovsky has served as CEO of Nostalgia Network, vice president of program operations for Warner Cable and president of Golden West Subscription Television and VP of pay TV for Walt Disney Productions’ Buena Vista Distribution.
