McCain To Join ‘Indecision 2008’ Wednesday
Continuing to add to its list of guests for its “Indecision 2008” coverage, Comedy Central will welcome presidential candidate Sen. John McCain (Ariz.-R.) May 7 at 11 p.m. (ET/PT).
The appearance will mark McCain’s 13th time on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, the most of any guest, and the first since he became the presumptive GOP presidential candidate. McCain’s last appearance was Aug. 16, 2007; before that, April 24 of that year, the eve of the announcement that he would seek the nomination.
The Daily Show, which last week said it would tape in Denver the week of the Democratic National Convention and in Minneapolis/St. Paul for the Republican National Convention, will have Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid as a guest tonight.
Recently, the show had former President Jimmy Carter, ex Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich and Howard Dean, chairman of the Democratic National Committee, as guests.
