Fox Cable Networks Group said Mediacom Communications Corp. agreed to double
its Speed Channel distribution commitment.
It wouldn't detail how many subscribers are involved other than to note that
the deal expands Speed's 'committed subscriber count' to nearly 67 million.
The carriage deal is part of a broader agreement Fox cut recently with
Mediacom, which also included distribution for National Geographic
Channel.
