Grupo Televisa’s Cablevision, the largest digital-cable operator in Mexico, will sell and distribute TiVo’s digital-video recorder and service to subscribers in Mexico City, the companies announced Wednesday.
The operator, which passes 1.4 million homes in the Mexico City metro area, expects to begin marketing TiVo DVRs in the first half of 2007. Financial terms of the deal weren’t disclosed.
