Bob Meyers joined Playboy Enterprises in the newly created position of president, media.
Meyers had been executive vice president of digital media, data and video at Westwood One.
At Playboy, he will oversee the publishing and entertainment groups. Alex Vaickus, president of the licensing group, will continue in his role.
“With the accelerating pace of change in the media business, we were particularly pleased to find an executive whose breadth of expertise includes both television and online and who has both operating and development experience,” Playboy chairman and CEO Christie Hefner said in a prepared statement.
