General Instrument Corp. and Motorola Inc. veteran Dan Moloney was named
Friday to head Motorola Broadband Communications Sector.
Moloney succeeds Dave Robinson who is leaving the company.
Moloney had been senior vice president and general manager of the broadband
unit's Internet-technology group.
