Mexican rock band Molotov will host the 2005 MTV Video Music AwardsLatin America, MTV Network Latin America said Tuesday.
The programmer added that this marks the first time a band will host the VMALAs.
The 2005 MTV VMALAs will be held Thursday, Oct. 20 at the Great Tlachco Theater in Xcaret, located in Playa del Carmen in the Mexican Caribbean.
Among this year’s performers: My Chemical Romance, Sean Paul, Babasónicos, Shakira, Foo Fighters, Good Charlotte and Simple Plan.
