Predictive Networks announced Tuesday that it has named TVGateway cofounder and ex-general manager Peter Mondics president and CEO.
Predictive is beginning its formal rollout of its "SmartNavigator" TV navigation and recommendation system to MSOs and interactive-program-guide providers throughout North America.
Mondics led cable-industry consortium TVGateway's creation and commercial deployment of its IPG and middleware product.
Prior to TVGateway, Mondics served as senior vice president of sales for WorldGate Communications Inc. He has also held management, sales and marketing positions with NuStar, Financial News Network and Home Box Office.
Predictive offers its SmartNavigator utilities as either an IPG enhancement or a downloadable application to set-top boxes.
