John G. Waclawsky has joined Motorola Inc. as software architect.
Waclawsky had been a technical leader for the mobile-wireless group at Cisco Systems Inc.
At Motorola, he will help to drive software development that delivers converged end-to-end solutions in technology areas such as security, network-management, mobility, networking-middleware, software-agent and software-development environments.
He reports to Motorola Global Software corporate vice president Anson Chen.
