Madison Square Garden has elevated Stacey Escudero for the newly created position of vice president, business public relations, MSG Sports.
Previously director, public relations for MSG Media, Escudero in her new job is charged with developing and executing media strategies supportive of the division's priorities and helping to drive its growth objectives. Concentrating on trade, business and consumer press initiatives, she will create targeted, public relations campaigns that elevate the visibility of MSG Sports and back critical marketing partnerships.
MSG Sports comprises the New York Knicks, New York Rangers, New York Liberty, and the Sports Properties division, which includes college and high school basketball, boxing, track and field, among other sports events held at the world's most famous arena.
Escudero joined MSG Media from Rainbow Media, where she served as trade publicist promoting national television networks AMC, IFC and WeTV. Previously, she held positions with public relations agencies The Domino Group and Drasnin Communications.
