MTV to Bash Daly

Pop-music and celebrity icons Madonna, Britney Spears, Jon Stewart, Andy
Dick, Carmen Electra, Jimmy Kimmel and Sarah Silverman will join MTV: Music
Television later this month in roasting Total Request Live host Carson
Daly on the network's first-ever bash show.

The channel will tape MTV Bash -- which will also include appearances
by Jessica Simpson, Lit, Papa Roach and Usher -- June 28 for a July 13 airing,
network executives said.

The special will aim at Daly's life and career, from "his teeny-bopper image
to TRL's never-ending hype of all things pop," the network
said.
