MTV Expelled from N.D. School
Clara Barton Elementary in Fargo, N.D., doesn’t want its MTV.
The Fargo School District had given a crew from MTV: Music Television permission to film at the school, but district executives had second thoughts when they learned the intent of the filming session, AP reported.
The network had planned to film a sexually suggestive prank involving reindeer lawn ornaments for a show called High School Stories: Scandals, Pranks and Controversies, according to AP. MTV told AP it was trying to recreate an actual incident that took place in Fergus Falls, Minn., in 2002.
Clara Barton principal Jeff Reznecheck told AP he had given the film crew permission to be at the school earlier in the week, not realizing what was planned.
