MTV: Music Television has given the green light to reality seriesCheyenne.
The show will follow the life of 15-year-old singer and songwriter Cheyenne Kimball.
MTV said Kimball was booking herself at local nightclubs at age eight, crowned “America’s Most Talented Kid” at age 10 and about to release her first album on Columbia Records at age 15.
“Without question, Cheyenne has the talent, the determination and the drive to succeed, but will that be enough?” MTV Series Entertainment executive vice president Lois Curren said in a prepared statement.
“Viewers will be privy to all of the struggles and triumphs faced by Cheyenne, who, although she has a history of musical successes, will now attempt to take her career one step further with hopes to achieve her dreams of being a rock superstar,” she added.
