MTVN Elevates Cucci, Adds Chestnut

John Cucci was promoted to chief operating officer of MTV Networks’ Comedy Central, Spike TV and TV Land.

Cucci had been chief financial officer for MTVN. In his new role, he will oversee the three networks’ corporate strategy and business development; production management; business and legal affairs; human resources; and finance areas.

Colette Chestnut joined MTVN to assume Cucci’s former post.

Chestnut has been North American CFO at J. Walter Thompson Co. At MTVN, she will be responsible for managing financial operations and will be a member of the programmer’s management committee.
