Jeffrey B. Yapp has joined MTV Networks in the newly created post of executive vice president of MTVN Music and Logo Enterprise Group.
Yapp had been president of the retail group at Cablevision Systems Corp.
In his new role, he will oversee several business-development teams responsible for enterprises the MTVN music services and soon-to-be-launched Logo will create, including unique content for DVDs; direct-to-DVD movies; console and portable video games; consumer publishing; consumer products; radio; satellite radio; direct response; HDTV; and new channel and business development.
He reports to MTVN Music/Logo Group chief operating officer Rich Eigendorff.
